About the Opportunity

As Monin's Demand Planner, you will be responsible for assisting in the forecasting and planning process at the SKU level. Being able to see the BIG picture and drill down to details to increase forecast accuracy, reduce sales gaps and forecast bias, provide promotional analysis, and perform root cause analysis. Utilizing Demand Solutions’ DSX software for statistical analysis to provide the optimal monthly forecast. The ideal candidate for this position will be a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset and customer-oriented focus.

What You’ll Do

Analyze history, trends, seasonality, customer behaviors, and causalities to provide insight and opportunities for Sales and continuous improvements
Utilize DSX Demand Planning software to develop statistical forecasts, formulas, and baselines.
Manage a forecast at item level detail and collaborate with Sales to accurately forecast promotional activities and competitive products.
Forecast a subset of SKUs at item level for a rolling 12 months.
Conduct thorough data analysis to increase forecast accuracy and meet customer demand.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to gather insights on new products and new customers to align strategies.
Conduct both upstream and downstream data flow for analysis.
Assist in reviewing full goods at risk of meeting half-life to reduce discard.
Assist in monitoring and maintaining SKU cards.
Assist in safety stock/safety time analysis for inventory optimization.

Other Qualifications & Considerations

Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of one year of experience in demand planning.
Strong analytical and planning skills.
Knowledge of basic supply chain practices.
Prior exposure to ERP systems with a preference for experience in MS Navision.
Prior experience with demand planning software, such as Logility, Demand Solutions, SAP, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, Demantra, or JDA.
Prior experience in Sales & Marketing analysis.
Exceptional ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of formulas or algorithms is a plus.
Distributor sales analysis is a plus.
