They are expanding their team and looking for a Firmware Architect who is passionate about developing next-generation firmware for cutting-edge energy products and systems.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design and architecture of embedded firmware solutions for a wide range of energy products, including energy management systems, smart meters, and grid automation devices. Develop high-performance, energy-efficient, and secure firmware for embedded systems that support real-time data processing, device communication, and system integration. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and system architects, to define system requirements and ensure seamless integration. Drive the optimization of firmware for reliability, scalability, and long-term sustainability in mission-critical energy applications. Lead initiatives to enhance product security, fault tolerance, forensics, and self-testing capabilities. Reinforce the resilience and cybersecurity of firmware solutions. T&E \ RES: Focus on rack power distribution units (rPDU) and rack automatic transfer switches (rATS).
Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 15 years of embedded firmware development, focusing on real-time operating systems, such as Embedded Linux, uCos, FreeRTOS and ThreadX. Experience with MCUs including LCES and platforms from TI and STMicroelectronics Ability to understand schematics and debug hardware issues using tools like oscilloscopes and power supplies Strongly skilled in C,C++, Java and Python
