As a Crane Service Technician, your duties will include:
* Troubleshooting, repairing, inspection, and modernization of industrial equipment.
* Communicating and offering customer support for parts and material orders.
* Preparing required reports and administrative paperwork.
* Accompanying sales personnel for occasional calls and follow-ups.
* Working in various environments which may require standing, walking, bending, and crawling.
* Must be passionate about offering great customer service.
* Working at heights and frequent travel within the Territory.
* Occasional overnight travel.
* Our techs must be able to communicate effectively via phone and email. Basic computer skills are required.
* We expect our techs to work in a close team atmosphere.
You are a great fit for our team if you have:
* A strong background in AC and DC electromechanical and solid state motor control systems.
* Ability to read blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams. (Able to troubleshoot without prints on occasion)
* Mechanical experiences with gear reducers and drive systems a plus.
* Prior overhead crane experience preferred.
* Ability to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team.
* Basic computer skills to work with web-based applications.
* A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
* A commitment to working safely.
As a Service Technician you can expect:
* A guaranteed minimum 40 hours/week pay provided you are available for work.
