Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and document patient's vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medications, and self-care techniques
- Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records

Skills:
- Proficient in working with people with developmental disabilities
- Ability to perform physical examinations and catheterize patients
- Strong knowledge of human physiology and medical terminology
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
- Experience administering injections, including dermal fillers
- Familiarity with performing spinal taps (lumbar punctures)
- Proficiency in using Cerner or similar electronic medical record systems
