Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant Pediatrics

Job Overview:
Seeking a Pediatric Phlebotomist to draw blood and other fluids from pediatric patients. Must ensure patient health and sample quality. Requires phlebotomy diploma, pediatric experience, and knowledge of puncture techniques. ASCP, RPT, or NCPT certification is a plus. Reports to Nurse Manager. Must be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipunctures and collect specimens.
- Identify and label specimens accurately.
- Process specimens for testing.
- Maintain laboratory and practice policies.
Qualifications:
- Pediatric phlebotomy experience.
- Completion of NAACLS accredited program.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
