ProLink Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Ridgecrest, California.

Organizes and conducts occupational therapy programs in the Hospital and for Home Health patients to facilitate rehabilitation of the mentally or physically handicapped. Directs patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance; facilitates the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity, diminish or correct pathology and to promote and maintain health. Makes recommendations regarding equipment and staffing requirements. Supervises Certified OT Assistants, Rehab Aides and others, as assigned. 1. Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy or the equivalent. 2. Current registration in the state of California. 3. Certification, if applicable, and demonstrated competency in identified areas of specialization, including training for age groups likely to be seen in the hospital/home health settings. 4. Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Demonstrated competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in occupational therapy. 6. Ability to assess patient needs and develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care. 7. Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements. 8. Recommended affiliation with the American Occupational Therapy Association. 9. Ability to read, write, communicate and comprehend the English language.

ProLink Allied Job ID #477699. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
