We are looking for exceptional candidates to join our Orlin & Cohen team as an Authorization Representative.

Ideally candidates have knowledge of authorization rules and regulations as well as healthcare and insurance experience.

* _*Monday - Friday (8:30am-5pm)*_

_*\*Previous insurance and authorization experience REQUIRED *_

_*\*Experience with radiology CPT codes, medical background, Insurance knowledge preferred*_

_*Authorization Representative*_

Obtain authorizations for several departments and medical procedures.

_*Candidate responsibilities include:*_

· Initiates request for MRI Injection Authorization from commercial carriers.

· Updates and records authorization related information in our system.

· Perform clinical reviews of authorization requests.

· Provides accurate and complete documentation to approve MRI Injections requests.

· Collaborate with applicable staff to coordinate patient care.

· Adheres to all HIPAA guidelines and regulation.

_*Required experience and Qualifications:*_

· High School Diploma or equivalent GED.

· Minimum of one year healthcare or insurance office experience required.

· Prior Authorization experience preferred

· Excellent oral, written, computer and customer service skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
