Responsibilities of the Machine Operator
Reviews schedule with Scheduler/Planner and Lead Setup Technician
Responsible for proper set-up of tooling as per prescribed
Responsible for inspection of all tooling pre- and post-production to ensure tooling is in satisfactory condition.
Responsible for completing Visual Quality PDC checklist during inspection of all tooling.
Documents process for new tools and documents changes in existing processes.
Enters NCM information for tooling repairs.
Requires the ability to bend, lift and move objects weighing up to 100 pounds on a regular basis.

Requirements of the Machine Operator
Ability to read, analyze and interpret schedules, work instructions, QOPs and other related. Production documents as well as technical manuals and writing. Ability to assist in writing reports.
Ability to respond to questions from managers and employees.
Ability to apply basic mathematical skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to use a calculator. Ability to calculate area and volume dimensions. Spatial acuity
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Moderately proficient user of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook is ideal. Highly adaptive and flexible to accepting new ideas, people, and procedures.

Compensation/Benefits for the Machine Operator
Salary: $16 plus depending on experience
