We're looking for a Senior Product Manager in Raleigh, NC to join us in fulfilling our mission, while utilizing our values of excellence, improvement, and connection. The Senior Product Manager will play a critical role in managing our existing product portfolio and developing new value-added financial mortgage insurance products. This role involves the full lifecycle management of products, from conceptualization and development to commercialization and performance analysis.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Product Management: Oversee the management of existing mortgage insurance products, ensuring they meet market demands and regulatory requirements.

  • Product Development: Lead the development of new financial mortgage insurance products and value-added services. Conduct market research, identify customer needs, translate them into product requirements, and collaborate with internal teams to build and commercialize.

  • Commercialization: Develop and execute strategies for the successful commercialization of existing and new products. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and cross-functional teams to drive product adoption and growth.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends and opportunities. Utilize insights to refine product offerings and positioning.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including underwriting, risk management, sales, marketing, and IT to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.

  • Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines product enhancements, new features, and strategic initiatives. Prioritize projects based on business impact and market needs.

  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the performance of products in the market. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improvements.

  • Compliance: Ensure all products comply with regulatory standards and internal policies. Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices.

  • Customer Focus: Act as the voice of the customer, advocating for customer needs and ensuring products deliver exceptional value and satisfaction.


YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field

  • Proven experience in product management/development, preferably within the financial services or mortgage insurance industry

  • Experience with financial structures preferred

  • Experience building IT requirements for complex financial products preferred

  • Strong understanding of financial products and mortgage insurance

  • Strong understanding of the primary and secondary mortgage market

  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong communication at all levels of an organization and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in market research and data analysis

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the mortgage insurance sector

  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality products
