If candidate has worked as a perm employee at any of the below facilities within the last 12 months they can't be submitted for consideration: Albany, Glen Falls, Saratoga Hospital and Columbia Memorial
As of 6/23/23 Albany Medical Center encourages the COVID Vaccine Card although no longer requires it.
Modules required prior to starting. Client will email them directly to the nurse once they're fully compliant. Modules will be unpaid. Approximate time is 3 Hours.
Please do not submit your candidate unless they’re 100% onboard with accepting the offer if given. The client is very sensitive to drops and we need to prevent any drops.
HealthTrust Travel nurses are required to float when requested and as needed. There is no set frequency.
Position Details:
Certs: BLS, ACLS Required
Nurses with large scale adult PCU experience and community hospital ICU experience tend to do well in our area. Average patient load is 3 high acuity patients.
BLOCK SCHEDULE Will Not Be Approved
The nurses in our Progressive Critical Care Unit care for some of the most medically delicate and surgically complex patients in our region.Respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi system organ disfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, surgical complications, include some of our top DRGs.
Must be competent in the care of medical and surgical populations, ACLS, and advanced hemodynamics including pressor usage per our titration protocols. Antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, a line, cvp, EVD, ortho traction, infection prevention protocols. HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxypendent.
