Job Description

Summary

Works under the supervision of the Sleep Center Manager. Performs duties as follows: Polysomnography, Palpitations, MSLTs, MWTs, overnight oximetry, multichannel sleep studies, ETC02, Holter monitoring application, scanning and scoring, ISR, general office duties and pulmonary rehabilitation. Works with pediatric to geriatric patients.

Essential Functions

Operates polysomnographic equipment for testing or scoring. Prepares patients for procedures and ensures proper orders and guidelines are followed.
Provides service to Inpatients as needed for holters and overnight oximetry set ups. Coordinates with Nursing to provide services.
Scheduling of patients and performs routine paperwork and documentation into computer system for patients electronic medical record and reviews interpretations for return orders.
Performs Interscorer Reliability for Quality assurance and other QA programs as assigned.

Requirements

Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy

Licensure/ Certifications: RPSGT or RST

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 1 year of sleep experience recommended
