Summit Diagnostics Center at Cedar Bluff is seeking a Registered Ultrasound Technologist to join their team. This is a Full time opportunity.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (List does not include all duties assigned)

Performs ultrasound procedures on all scheduled patients safely and accurately.
Follows imaging protocols to assure consistent and accurate test results.
Treats patients in a professional and pleasant manner while attending to their needs and maximizing their level of comfort.
Adheres to established policies and procedures, including ACR accreditation imaging guidelines, OSHA and the corporate compliance plan.
Adjusts to varying workflow as needed; requests assistance from co-workers and or supervisor as appropriate.
Maintains ultrasound equipment QC
Orders and stocks all supplies, as requested by supervisor.
Notifies supervisor in a timely manner re: any challenges with equipment.
Maintains appropriate logs, card files, film folders, test results, etc., in an orderly fashion.
Assists in other areas during idle times in assigned areas.
Performs all duties while exhibiting a courteous and cooperative manner to all co-workers, management, and the public.
Maintains CPR certification and all certifications/ continuing education required and appropriate for position.
Demonstrates current competencies related to job position.
Maintains strict confidentiality.
Performs related tasks as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications:

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of all required courses in ultrasound technology.

EXPERIENCE: Two years’ experience in ultrasound preferred. Experience in echocardiography preferred but not required.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: RDMS certification required.
