Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced Gastroenterology Lab/Endoscopy and Interventional Pulmonology team. RNs rotate between pre-op, intra-op and PACU. Regular work week is Monday-Friday, No weekends, No holidays. Call is taken on a rotating basis for after-hour emergencies, on weekends & on holidays. This position offers the opportunity to be cross trained for our Interventional Pulmonology services and the team functions as one unit taking care of GI and IP patients in both PreOp and PACU.
This is a part time, 2x12 hr shifts per week. Call is taken on a rotating basis for after-hour emergencies, on weekends & on holidays.

Job Requirements:
- Experience - 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse-
One year of direct Operating Room (OR) experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an OR fellowship. If PACU Nurse, one year of critical care or PACU RN experience is required.
- Certification - Basic Life Support; For Infusion Center, obtain chemo card within 3 months of hire
- Licensure - Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse
- Education-Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Associate's Degree. If RN has an Associate's Degree, Complete BSN within 24 months of start date
