Job Summary and QualificationsResponsible for the performance of diagnostic ultrasound exams, diagnostic cardiology procedures, peripheral vascular studies (imaging included). The Cardiovascular Sonographer is a highly skilled individual qualified by academic and clinical experience to produce and evaluate ultrasound images.
What qualifications you will need:- Completion of an accredited Echocardiography Program and / or minimum of 2 years experience in the field of Echocardiography
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
- Basic echocardiography knowledge, cardiac anatomy/physiology
