About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity to support our Guest Data & Martech team as a Sr. Director of Marketing Technology based in Miami, FL or Shelton, CT. The Sr. Director of Marketing Technology will lead technology delivery of Subway's Data Driven Global Martech capabilities including email, SMS, digital analytics, personalization, loyalty, and offers based on the marketing strategic roadmap. This seasoned Martech leader will lead a cross-functional guest data platform and Martech to bring Subway's global, personalized marketing vision to life. Additionally, this leader will be a liaison with the various Subway marketing and digital functions and ensure the holistic, cross-functional execution of key marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement and sales.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead a technical team to effectively operate an enterprise Martech platform such as Adobe Experience Platform or Salesforce Marketing Cloud and leverage analytics to drive business result and validate Digital effectiveness.
- Effectively lead a technical team to operate a guest data platform and Consumer Data Platform (CDP) to drive personalized marketing activities.
- Partner with promotion, content, web, and mobile app team to achieve shared outcomes needed for complex marketing goals. Apply extensive business knowledge of restaurant/retail Martech, Loyalty, and Gift Cards to translate marketing objectives into successful technical outcomes on the underlying technical platforms.
- Oversee Martech delivery partners and vendors such as agencies and IT service providers to ensure effective, high-quality campaigns.
- Collaborate with senior marketing executives to develop a comprehensive Martech and guest data driven personalization roadmap to support the overall personalized marketing strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree Required- Computer Science, Computer Management Information Systems, Marketing.
- 8 plus years related experience.
- 8 plus years management experience.
- Knowledgeable in various marketing technologies including Email, SMS, Push Notification, CMS, DAM, CDP, Personalization, Loyalty, Offers, and Gift Cards.
- Experienced in integration and operating guest data leveraging CDP and Consumer Master Data to power personalized marketing capabilities.
- Ability to translate complex marketing campaigns into cross-functional activation across various IT functions for holistic, end-to-end delivery.
- Battle tested decision-making capabilities in production situations including problem analysis, problem rectification, communications (internal and external), and root cause analysis.
- Well versed in consumer privacy laws such as CCPA and GDPR.
- Experience with Adobe Technology Stack, Kobie Loyalty Engine, Consumer Data Platforms (CDP), and/or comparable enterprise solutions highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify improvement opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and initiate change.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate, challenge the status quo and transform.
- Continually challenges oneself and team to relentlessly meet a high level of measured success.
- Ability to work and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous restaurant or retail experience desirable.
- Experienced in operating in a distributed Agile Scrum environment, preferable using SAFe Agile Framework to continuously deliver new capabilities while working closely with other adjacent Agile teams in the Digital organization.
- Strong communication skills to translate complex and technical issues into a straightforward, easy-to-understand manner tailored to the unique needs of the audience.
