Job DescriptionJob DescriptionA large hospital located in Fairbanks, AK is currently seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technologist to join their team full-timeCheck out the details below:

Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Hospital
Location: Fairbanks, AK
Schedule: Full-time, M-F, 4 10-hour shifts, Days, rotating day off. No call or holidays
Pay: Starting wage begins at $33/hr BOE plus relocation assistance, signing bonus and housing assistance

The Ultrasound Technologist duties to include but not limited to:

-Performs procedures by following and verifying referring providers' orders. Uses independent judgment and applies learned methodologies according to established policy and procedures
-Educates patients/families regarding procedure and/or treatment to be performed. Demonstrates professional behavior/conduct in all interactions; fosters teamwork, efficient use of resources and quality patient outcomes
-Produces high quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation
-Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures if applicable in accordance with established policies if applicable
-Assures the efficient operation of workflow of the department

REQUIREMENTS:
-ARDMS certification required
-1-2 years’ experience preferred
-Acute care experience preferred
-BLS certification required
