Now, we are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to help us grow

Opportunity Details:
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Setting: Outpatient Pediatric Clinic
  • Schedule: 5 Days/Week (8:00am-5:00pm) w/ 1-hour lunch
  • Experience Required: Pediatric Experience Preferred
  • Patient Population: Pediatrics (Infants to Teenager)
Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Assist pediatricians during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth clinic operation.
  • Vital Signs & History: Prepare patients for examination by recording vital signs and medical history.
  • Lab Support: Perform basic laboratory tests, collect specimens, and sterilize medical instruments.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications or vaccines under the direction of a pediatrician.
  • Patient Education: Explain procedures and treatments to patients and their parents or guardians.
  • Appointment Coordination: Manage patient flow and coordinate appointments.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Comfort and Calm: Help comfort and calm nervous or upset children.
  • Cleanliness: Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in examination rooms and waiting areas.
Candidate Qualifications:
  • Active Texas License
  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Availability for full-time scheduling
  • Ability to daily commute to Prosper, TX (local opportunity)
