We are currently seeking a skilled Facility Porter to join our team and contribute to the ongoing success of our facility in Frederick Country, Virginia
About the Role
As a Facility Porter at our yogurt processing facility, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks, handling waste removal, and assisting with minor maintenance duties to ensure the facility is in top condition and ready for daily operations.
Responsibilities
Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
Emptying trash and recycling bins
Cleaning restrooms, including restocking supplies
Cleaning and disinfecting common areas
Washing windows and mirrors
Dusting furniture and equipment
Removing snow and ice from walkways
Assisting with minor repairs as needed
Moving furniture and equipment as required
Maintaining cleanliness of the facility's exterior
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of experience in facilities cleaning or maintenance
Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
