What you will do in this role:

Responsible for the planning and implementation of the nutrition care of the patients in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards and regulations, clinical guidelines, and policies and procedures. Collaborates with Nutritional Services manager to ensure accurate food service is provided to patients.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in dietetics or nutrition related field.
  • Registration from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • State licensure/certification, if required by state.
  • Previous experience in acute care setting, preferred.

Salary range: $30-40 per hour. We would expect those hired into this job would be paid within this hourly rate, however, certain circumstances may allow us to pay outside of this hourly rate.

Registered dietitians awaiting approval of state licensure/certification may practice under a provisional license if the state licensing board allows. Provisional dietitians must have all documentation in the medical record co-signed by a state licensed dietitian.

CHI Franciscan Rehabilitation Hospital strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. We are accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF-accredited for our Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and Stroke Specialty Program.
