Vitruvian Health Care System (formerly known as Hamilton Health Care System) and Hamilton Physician Group (HPG) are recruiting a Developmental or Neurodevelopmental Behavioural Pediatrician for Hamilton Medical Center.
The Anna Shaw Children's Institute at Hamilton Medical Center, Dalton GA is seeking a Developmental-Behavioral or Neurodevelopmental Pediatrician to join a comprehensive care team focused on providing direct, high quality coordinated care to address the range of developmental and behavioral health challenges, medical complexities and family therapy needs of children with developmental delays. Care will be provided in our newly constructed, 54,000 square foot, freestanding care institute, integrating children's services in one building.
Qualified candidates:
- +/- BC/BE in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician or Neurodevelopmental Pediatrician
- Candidate should possess leadership skills emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration, partnership building, and advocacy for children and families
- Demonstrated focus on family-centered care for a wide range of children with neurodevelopmental disorders
- Possesses vision for the future of persons with disabilities in society Ideal candidates will have an interest in teaching
- Ability to work as a team member
- Commitment to quality, patient safety and overall excellence in evidence based clinical care

Practice Overview:
- Proficiency in developmental-behavioral evaluations for pediatric developmental and learning disabilities, complex neurodevelopmental conditions, ADHD, genetic disorders and other special health care needs, with close partnership with primary care medical home providers
- Growth opportunities exist for program development, and leadership
- Candidate will have a significant impact on the quality of care delivery and health outcomes for the region including outreach presentations for families, providers, community, and conferences
- Monday-Thursday, 8-5 and Friday 8-12
- Pediatric Clinic Patient volume: 100 visits per month, with a mix of new and established patients
- Innovative multidisciplinary care for children with autism, including applied behavioral analysis (ABA) services
- Clinical and coordination of care with an Educational Resource Coordinator for children with complex ADHD/school challenges Integrated behavioral health services
- Care of children with neuromuscular conditions
- Interdisciplinary Neonatal Neurodevelopmental Follow Up Clinic

- Onsite Provider Team: Developmental Behavioral Pediatricians, Nurse Practitioners, Psychologists, Licensed Professional Counselor, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Registered Behavior Technicians, Social Worker, Educational Resource Coordinator and Nurse Care Navigator
