Required Minimum Education:

  • Diploma (Nurse) Accounting or Bachelors Accounting

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s): All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

  • Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact
  • Basic Life Support-Preferred or BLS - Instructor

Additional License(s) and Certification(s): National Certification in area of Specialty within 30 Days Preferred and Required Minimum Experience: Minimum 1 year of direct patient care in an acute care setting Preferred National Certification in area of Specialty Required Minimum Skills: Ability to read, write and speak the English language; Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; Inter- and intra-departmental coordination of patient care activities; Delegation skills required; Ability to multi-task essential; Ability to function in stressful and emergency situations essential; Strong detail orientation required; Computer skills required; Personal time management skills are required; Compliance with the American Nurses' Association Code of Ethics for Professional Nurses is required; Demonstrates knowledge of and practices within parameters outlined in Georgia Registered Professional Nurse Practice Act. Assessment skills required. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. The individual must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written English language and display a positive attitude (see WellStar's "Standards of Gold").
