ACE Recycling and Disposal is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Technician to join our team at Ace Disposal. As a Truck Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing diesel, CNG, and gasoline engines and vehicles. This is a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet. The total compensation package starts at $120,000.
Experience and Skills:

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks on diesel, CNG, and gasoline engines.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions in diesel, CNG, and gasoline engines, including fuel systems, transmissions, and cooling systems.
Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged parts and recommend replacements as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and service performed on diesel, CNG, and gasoline engines.
Collaborate with other mechanics and team members to ensure efficient operation and timely repairs.
Keep the work area clean and organized, following all safety guidelines and procedures.
Stay up to date with industry advancements and technological changes in diesel engine technology.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification or degree in heavy duty automotive technology is preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of diesel, CNG, and gasoline engines as well as class 5, 6, 7 and 8 truck chassis.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and time management abilities.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.
Flexibility to work overtime and on weekends as needed.
