Position Title: Janitorial Supervisor

Business Unit: Janitorial / Sustainability

Position Reports to: Enviromental & Sustainability Manager, Facilities Manager, Director of Fleet & Facilities

Positions Reporting to this Role: Lodge Attendant, Waste Organizers, Custodians

Location: Washington

Wage Range: $26.00 - 28.00 / hr

ESSENTIAL DUTIES-

The Cleanliness Crew Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness of our venues and restrooms during operating hours and overseeing the Cleanliness Crew daily operations.

  • Conduct daily huddles with day and night shift teams
  • Ensure proper procedures are being followed by the team
  • Oversee scheduling for lodge attendants and custodians
  • Creation of the department budget
  • Engage and welcome all Crystal Mountain guests
  • Vacuum, sweep and mop lodge floors when necessary
  • Maintain and stock restrooms
  • Bus tables and run dishes to dish-pits
  • Clean and sanitize tables
  • Clean door glass and sanitize handles
  • Attend to any spills/messes
  • Straighten tables and chairs
  • Report any damage to direct supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Employees of Crystal Mountain should understand that shoveling snow is a team sport

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS-

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • 1-2 years leadership experience


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS-

  • This position is required to weekdays, weekends and holidays while in operation.
  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 40 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a mop, vacuum, move carts and carry dishes.
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.
  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
