The Intermediate & Adult Acute Care unit (2NS) consists of a high acuity Intermediate Care wing that is capable of managing acute post-surgical, complex, and subcritical patients as well as an Adult Acute Care wing that is efficient at managing a wide variety of general medical patient conditions, this is a hybrid unit. 2NS provides a unique ability for New Graduates or Experienced Nurses to develop their clinical practice and critical skills in a supportive team-oriented setting. ​2NS provides supportive leadership and staff with a focused preceptor orientation and educator support.​ If you are interested in becoming skilled in providing high-level care and collaborating with multidisciplinary members, consider joining our Loyola team. We seek colleagues with:

  • A Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing is required - BSN or ADN
  • BLS provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
  • Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire
  • 1 year of experience (preferred – we do welcome New Grads)
