Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking a HR Admin to work in the Holly/Flint area. This is a great opportunity for someone newer to the HR (or related) field who has some experience but is looking to learn and grow, or for someone with a lot of work experience that is looking for a less demanding position. This position is not demanding and should not be stressful if you have patience and don’t become frustrated easily with people or processes. The right candidate must be able to go with the flow. It requires someone who respects confidentiality and can pay close attention to detail and organization. The position requires someone who can handle slow monotonous work as well as be able to occasionally kick it into high gear. Hours: full-time 7:30a-4:00p, 1st shift, Mon-Fri. Pay Rate: $17.00-$18.00/hr based on experience.

Experience/Knowledge Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of applicable work experience required.

  • Some payroll type experience preferred but not required. Experience in accounting or something with numbers and great attention to detail can substitute.

  • Some HR experience or education preferred.

  • Required – at least 1 year of experience using computers, phones, printers, and other office technology.

  • Required – Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint.

  • Required – Ability to work independently and work well with others.

  • Required – Positive attitude and patience.

  • Must have some experience in accounting.

  • Must be able to use the utmost discretion with work acquaintances.

  • Must be able to respect employee’s privacy and follow HIPAA rules strictly.

  • Must be able to respect confidentiality and not engage in gossip.

  • Must be able to use good judgment and work with a sense of urgency when needed.

  • Must have good attendance and be dependable.

  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must have strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • A driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

  • Must pass a drug screening and background check for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry, Data Gathering, Filing.

  • Answer Unemployment Claims, Submit and Track FMLA Claims.

  • Assist employees with personnel issues.

  • Assist Payroll, Assist, and act as Backup for HR Manager and all Plant HR Personnel.

  • Assist with Training.

  • Answer phones and the front door and help callers get the assistance they need.

  • Clean own area and chip-in keeping the main office tidy.

  • Assist in scheduling and putting on lunches for trainings, meetings and celebrations, etc.

  • Assist with Recruiting and working with Staffing Agencies.

  • Work with customers and vendors.

  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit and work at a computer doing data entry the majority of the day.

  • Use office technology including phones effectively.

  • Drive to and from and access multiple manufacturing plant locations.

  • None of our plants are handicap accessible. Walk up and down a flight of stairs multiple times a day.

  • Communicate effectively with others.

  • Lift up to 20 lbs.
