Bobcat of Atlanta is an authorized dealer of new and used Bobcat compact construction equipment including skid steers, track loaders, compact excavators, telehandlers, utility vehicles and more. We provide service both in the field and in our facility.

Bobcat of Atlanta - Norcross, GA is looking to add a Diesel Technician. This role will be responsible for providing quality repair services on Bobcat equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner. This includes performing basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment. If you have previous experience working as a diesel technician, forklift technician, or experience in the automotive industry we'd like to hear from you

$25-$40/hour (non flat rate) depending on experience + potential monthly bonuses

Responsibilities

Provide quality repair services on construction equipment in order to meet customer needs in a responsive, friendly, educated, and timely manner

Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned construction equipment

Identifies problems with mechanical, hydraulic, diesel & electrical systems and executes solutions

Participates in Service Training programs for the development of skills and knowledge

Document all repairs and testing for customer and warranty repairs

Any other duties as outlined by the Service Supervisor and or management of the company.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

2 year technical school graduate preferred.

1-year fleet or dealership experience in a diesel shop is required; 3-5 years preferred.

Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team.

Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate the assigned repairs.?

Heavy equipment and or agricultural experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.

Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds

Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, and crawl

Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
