Exciting opportunity for a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician to join our fantastic ED team at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Our stable team has a high retention rate and an outstanding reputation for providing excellent patient care, plus a nice balance of a community hospital setting with the ability to do some teaching. This is a fantastic location within 10 minutes of Center City Philadelphia.

Position Profile:

  • 50,000 annual emergency patient visits
  • 30 treatment rooms for maximum efficiency
  • Flexible scheduling with 8, 10, &12 hour shifts
  • APP coverage daily in Fast Track & Main ED
  • Community-oriented teaching hospital with;
    • PA students doing clinical EM rotations
    • 2nd & 3rd year EM residents from Thomas Jefferson University Hospital
  • EPIC EMR


Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, part of the Trinity Health System, is a community-oriented teaching and tertiary facility that offers a broad spectrum of patient services. Lourdes is a major teaching affiliate of the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine and is affiliated with Thomas Jefferson University Hospital which provides their PGY-II emergency medicine residents with clinical rotations in the Lourdes ED.
