We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg - Mattoon, IL. This position requires a compassionate and skilled RN with a strong background in medical-surgical nursing. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during their hospital stay.

*Key Responsibilities:*

- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med Surg

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.

- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed.

- Provide pre- and post-operative care to orthopedic patients, including pain management and rehabilitation support.

- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and the care plan.

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

*Requirements:*

*Experience:*

- Minimum of 3+ year of MED/SURG nursing experience.

*Education:*

- Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) or higher.

*Certifications & Licensure:*

- Current Illinois state RN License in good standing.

- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.

- COVID vaccination card.
