YOUR ROLE AS A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)

As a new Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Ocean Springs Health and Rehabilitation, you can expect to dive right into a dynamic and fulfilling role within our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and mobility, ensuring their comfort and dignity. You'll also monitor and document vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.

Your shift will run from 3 PM to 11 PM, giving you a chance to form meaningful connections during the evening hours. Rotating weekends will be part of your schedule, allowing you to engage in various activities and events with our residents, promoting a lively and interactive atmosphere in our community. To excel as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Ocean Springs Health and Rehabilitation, you'll need a blend of essential skills and qualifications. First and foremost, candidates must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid Mississippi CNA certification, ensuring you are well-equipped to provide top-notch care in our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). Interpersonal skills are crucial, as you'll be connecting with residents and their families, creating an atmosphere of trust and comfort.
