*Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse Emergency Room*
* Assess patients' conditions promptly and accurately upon arrival in the emergency room.
* Perform triage and categorize patients based on the severity of their condition, ensuring that those with life-threatening emergencies are prioritized.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patients' immediate needs.
* Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed, ensuring the accurate documentation of all interventions.
* Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions, responding swiftly to emergency situations and initiating appropriate interventions.
* Utilize specialized knowledge and skills to perform various emergency medical procedures, including CPR, wound suturing, and intravenous therapy administration.
* Educate patients and their families on the nature of their condition and provide instructions regarding post-emergency care and follow-up requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of patients' medical history, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory guidelines.
* Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
* Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their rights and preferences are respected during their emergency room stay.

*Requirements of the Registered Nurse Emergency Room:*
* BLS Certification
* ACLS Certification
* NY RN License
* 2 years previous ER experience
* 1 years previous Telemetry experience
