The hospital offers advanced cardiovascular care, including one of the largest open-heart programs in Florida.The American College of Cardiology has recognized UF Health Leesburg Hospital for its demonstrated expertise and commitment in treating patients with chest pain by awarding a Chest Pain Center Accreditation with Primacy PCI and Resuscitation its highest and best level of accreditation. The hospital also offers world-class orthopedics, minimally invasive robotic surgery, life-saving emergency care, stroke treatment, labor delivery, and so much more.

The Operating Room is team oriented and very collaborative keeping quality and safety as our main goal. The Manager leads by example and coaches and mentors and elevates her team members. Under the direction of the director, utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care.

This position will work Mon-Fri 6:00AM-2:30PM. We are searching for candidates who possess CVOR experience and Operating Room Charge experience.

CVOR team on-call after hours required to support the CVOR team for urgent/emergent CVOR case during weeknights and weekends.


Qualifications

Education:- Diploma/Associate's Degree

Licensure/Certification/Registration:- Florida Registered Nurse License

- BLS

- ACLS

- NIH Stroke Scale

Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required:

- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

-CVOR experience and Operating Room Charge experience highly preferred
