Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced X-ray Tech, available for a newly opened contract opportunity in Gaithsburg, Maryland.

Opportunity Specifics:
  • Contract Type: Radiology Technologist (X-ray experience required) 
  • Setting: Occupational Medicine/Urgent Care Clinic
  • Start Date: ASAP - Mid-December (possibility of extensions)
  • Shift Days: Monday - Friday
  • Shift hours: 9:30am - 6:00pm; 30-minute lunch
Candidate Requirements:
  • RT licensed through Maryland and AART
  • Required Skills: critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.  
  • X-Ray experience Required for Urgent Care
  • When not functioning as a Rad-Tech, you will provide support and assist the team as a Medical Assistant
  • CPR required
  • Basic Computer Skills
Responsibilities: 
  • Perform 75% Medical Assistant duties, including rooming patients, taking vitals, conducting drug and alcohol testing, and provide basic wound care.
  • Conduct 25% of duties involving radiological disagnostic examinations
  • Administer and oversee radiological diagnostic exams for patients.
  • Operate radiological equipment, develop film, and ensure accurate diagnostic imaging.
  • Prepare and position patients for radiological procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Provide direct patient care during X-Ray exams and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
