That’s why we need you, a seasoned network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network the government needs.

As a network engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience in network engineering, cyber operations support, virtualization, and other valuable skills to support the nation’s defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You’ll design new networks, upgrade existing networks, virtualize environments, and react to fast-changing mission and client requirements in network engineering.

You’ll apply your expertise in network design, engineering, implementation, virtualization, and cyber operations support as you guide our team of problem-solvers to enable the government to deploy new capabilities and technologies.

Your knowledge of network design, virtualization, and cyber operations will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience in network engineering, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you’ll make an impact on national security missions.

You Have:

5+ years of experience in network engineering
Experience in cloud OR on-premises network engineering
Experience with the Linux operating system
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

Experience in cyber operations support
Experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or another major cloud services provider
Experience with VMware, including hypervisor server environments
Experience being an end user of VMware and virtualizing environments
Experience with both server and end-user networking challenges

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
