Description

  • Oversee daily operations of construction projects
  • Coordinate staff and subcontractors to ensure work is completed on schedule
  • Enforce quality and safety standards at all times
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met
  • Manage project budget and ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Troubleshoot any project-related issues
  • Conduct regular site inspections and report on project status
  • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs

Profile

A successful 'Superintendent' should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field - not required
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices and regulations
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure
