Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN -  Oncology Chemo Certified

Shift: Variable Days / 8a-6:30p, 9a-7:30p, 10x4, 40 hrs  per week, Mon-Fri

Length: 13 weeks

Variable Days (Mon-Fri - Varied start times, but mostly 0 and 0)

Requirements:

  • CA license
  • 3 years of pediatric hem/onc inpatient or outpatient experience
  • Central Line experience and IV start
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA PALS
  • APHON
  • Children’s hospital experience preferred but not required
  • Skills: IV therapy, sedation recovery for lumbar puncture and bone marrow aspirate procedures/ central lines, administration of blood products, biologics and chemotherapeutic agents

RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING WITH ETAs of when it will post**
Requirements:- CA RN License- 3 years of pediatric hem/onc inpatient or outpatient experience - children’s hospital experience preferred but not required- Central Line experience and IV start- BLS (AHA)- PALS (AHA)- APHON
Shift/Hours: 4x10 Variable Days (Mon-Fri - Varied start times, but mostly 0 and 0)
Requested Time Off: Max 6 daysThe HemOnc clinic is closed on July 4th and Labor Day
Unit Summary:Patient Population: Average 60 to 80 patients per day. Blood and Marrow Transplantation.Oncology: neuroblastoma, anemia, leukemia/lymphoma, solid tumor, brain tumor.Hematology: hemophilia/ITP/sickle cell anemia.Skills: IV therapy, sedation recovery for lumbar puncture and bone marrow aspirate procedures/ central lines, administration of blood products, biologics and chemotherapeutic agents.
