MLee Healthcare is looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist that will be an essential part of our diagnostic imaging team. Your role will involve performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures to aid in diagnosing and treating a range of medical conditions, contributing to our goal of delivering top-notch healthcare to our community.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct various nuclear medicine procedures such as SPECT scans, PET scans, bone scans, cardiac stress tests, and thyroid uptake studies.
Safely administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with hospital protocols.
Operate advanced imaging equipment, including gamma cameras and PET/CT scanners, to produce high-quality images.
Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their comfort and safety.
Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to provide precise and timely reports on imaging results.
Keep accurate records of patient information, procedure details, and radiopharmaceutical usage.
Maintain and clean imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions or issues.
Educate patients about procedures and address any questions or concerns they may have.
Stay informed about the latest advancements in nuclear medicine technology and engage in continuing education to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
Current certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N) with a specialization in nuclear medicine.
State licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
At least 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Proficiency in operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment and related software.
Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, radiopharmaceuticals, and radiation safety protocols.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient care.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional on-call shifts.
