*General Duties:* Under general supervision monitors cardiac rhythms or patients in special care units via telemetry equipment. Performs related clerical duties such as answering routine questions, taking/relaying calls, ect.

Job Description available upon request, o Telemetry Monitor Technician would be monitoring all patients on telemetry on 2 ½ units within the Heart Hospital at Edward Hospital – all the 2nd floor, ½ of 3rd floor, and all the 8th floor for a maximum of 70 patients (if every patient on the 2nd & 8th floor & ½ of 3rd floor were on telemetry). MTs will be a hybrid role where staff can work as a monitor tech or patient care tech.

*Required Qualifications: *High School Diploma or GED required. Must have at least 1 year of both PCT & MOT experience and EKG experience is a must.

*Preferred Qualifications*: At least 3-6 months of other previous healthcare other monitor tech experience preferred.

*License Required:* telemetry certification.

*Certificates Required: *CPR from AHA or Red Cross required.
