Salary: $75 - $85 per hour (depending on experience)
About the Facility: Our client, a respected nursing home in Old Bridge, NJ, is seeking a dedicated Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join their team. The facility is committed to providing exceptional care and support to its residents.
Position Overview: We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Endocrinology NP to provide specialized care to the nursing home residents. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in endocrinology and will work 2-3 days per month, with flexible 6-8 hour shifts. The NP can choose which days to work, offering a great work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of residents with endocrine conditions.
Develop and implement treatment plans for residents with acute and chronic endocrine issues.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Educate residents and their families about endocrine health, treatment options, and preventive measures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner.
Valid NP license in the state of New Jersey.
Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
