*A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE*

As an HVAC Maintenance Technician Apprentice, you get to assist an HVAC technician out in the field at the homes and businesses of our customers. As you help them, they mentor you on everything from how to talk with customers to how to properly maintain equipment. Eager to learn, you are eventually able to provide routine maintenance, cleanings, and inspections on warm air furnaces, air conditioners, duct distribution systems, water heaters, and the related piping and electrical systems. You are grateful to have a good job that is also getting you started in an essential skilled trade

*QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN HVAC MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE*
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
* Mechanically inclined
* Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
* EPA certification would be a plus

Six months of HVAC experience or schooling is preferred and any construction-related experience in a similar industry would be helpful, but *attitude is the most important qualification* Do you take pride in your work and have the motivation to follow instructions and continually improve your skills? *WORK SCHEDULE*

This full-time position typically works *8 hours per weekday starting at around 7:30 AM*. Exact times depend on the volume for the day. There is an on-call rotation of 12-14 techs for after-hours and weekends once.
