The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, including nursing homes and emergency rooms. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care to individuals with diverse needs. \*\*Responsibilities:\*\* - Provide skilled nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and medical orders. - Assist in the administration of medications, including injections and spinal taps. - Conduct phlebotomy procedures as needed. - Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities to the medical team. - Implement infection control measures to prevent the spread of illnesses. - Assist with ophthalmology procedures and provide eye care as needed. - Work closely with patients with developmental disabilities, including those with working people developmental disabilities. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and improve care delivery. \*\*Experience:\*\* - Current LPN licensure in the state of practice. - Experience working in a nursing home or emergency room setting. - Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong understanding of medical-surgical nursing principles and practices. - Familiarity with ventilator management and use. - Ability to ventilate patients as needed. - Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control in all aspects of patient care. - Experience with spinal tap procedures and a willingness to learn and assist with ophthalmology procedures. - Experience working with patients with developmental disabilities and a passion for delivering individualized care. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $31.26 - $33.88 per hour
