Description

Under the direction of the Senior VP Affiliated Networks, this position will analyze financial data and utilization data to understand the underlying causes for business performance and variance among budgets and forecasts. This individual will identify potential areas of improvement amongst provider networks and prepare various analyses and reports. In addition, this position will collaborate with Affiliate Physicians and operational Leadership to develop action plans based on analysis of utilization and financial data. Will also be responsible for presenting the results of improvement efforts and ongoing performance measures to Affiliate leadership at various committee meetings as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field. Or equivalent education/experience.
  • Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
  • 2 years experience in a provider relations or contract department within a medical group or affiliate network setting; 5 years preferred.
  • Extensive experience interacting with healthcare professionals including physicians and all levels of healthcare staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • 2 years Project management experience in a medical group or affiliate network setting.
  • Experience with healthcare business management applications such as GE (IDX) Centricity Business.

Providence Clinical Network (PCN) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care. Collectively, our medical groups and affiliate practices are the third largest group in the country with over 11,000 providers, 900 clinics and 30,000 caregivers.
