Duties:
Provide speech and language therapy services to approximately 40 EC students, with a caseload of around 25 students
Conduct therapy sessions in small groups and occasional 1:1 settings
Offer speech support in Kindergarten and first grade classrooms (aka Speech Club to reduce referrals)
Serve as a member of the Autism Support Team
Evaluate for and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
Work with the student's IEP team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Maintain timely Medicaid documentation for billing
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
Attend professional development and stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
Be a member of one of the best and most collaborative EC teams in NC
