Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team on a mid-weekend schedule, from Friday through Sundays. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Washington state radiology license and possess at least one year of experience in MRI technology.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans with proficiency and accuracy, adhering to safety protocols and patient care standards.
- Manage a daily caseload of 30-40 scans efficiently, maintaining quality standards.
- Operate GE Equipment and other MRI technology with expertise.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth flow of patient care and scheduling.
- Maintain documentation and records using EPIC charting system.
- Ensure compliance with IACE guidelines for accredited lab operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Valid Washington state radiology license and ARRT certification.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with GE Equipment is mandatory.
- Familiarity with cardiac MRI and breast MRI preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends as required.
Additional Information:
Our MRI department offers a diverse range of examinations, including specialized studies such as Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI during day shifts, and routine scans like brain, spine, abdomen, and extremities during night shifts. Patients' acuity levels vary from ambulatory to total assistance, with a higher proportion of inpatient cases requiring assistance during the night shift.
