This well-respected, full-service, 100+ bed community hospital has a 7-bed Level II NICU as well as five pediatric beds.
Reporting to the Manager of Neonatal Services, the NICU Nurse is responsible for caring for NICU patients 32 weeks of age and above. The NICU Nurse will work alongside fellow NICU Nurses and department staff to assess, evaluate, and provide quality and safe patient care to newborns while educating parents on their neonates’ condition and treatments.
The NICU Nurse will have the unique experience of cross-training in both pediatrics and mom and baby so that the NICU Nurse will gain well-rounded experience and will be able to care for patients in those departments
