Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality care and oral hygiene guidance to patients while assisting the dental team in delivering excellent dental services.

Duties:

- Perform dental cleanings and assist with other dental procedures as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct initial patient screenings and assessments
- Maintain and update patient medical records
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment

Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Proficiency in patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
- Familiarity with CAD software for dental imaging
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Understanding of medical coding systems
- Ability to work effectively in a dental office setting
