General Job Description

Serve the Tufting Department by performing repairs, adjustments, and preventative maintenance to tufting machines.

Essential Job Duties

Make necessary repairs to tufting machines.
Perform preventative maintenance on tufting machines.
Make major changes of blades, loopers and needles on tufting machines.
Obtain weight checks and adjust tufting machine to ensure product matches specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and quality-related issues related to tufting machines.
Make necessary tufting machine adjustments to accommodate style changes.
Alert supervisor or lead mechanic if any major problems found cannot be resolved.

Eligibility Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Previous Tufting mechanic experience and general maintenance knowledge required.
Must be detail oriented and organized
Must be able to read and write English
Must work well under pressure
Must have the ability to work efficiently with little to no supervision
