Position Summary:
As a nurse Anesthetist, you administer anesthetics for care to patients requiring anesthesia, sedation, and pain relief; you will provide direct and indirect patient care by utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You must meet the patient's and family's physical, psychosocial, and religious/cultural needs. You must also communicate effectively with all healthcare team members about changes in the patient's condition or response to treatment.
Minimum Requirements:
Completing the Nursing Diploma Program or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited school is required.
Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required within 30 days of hire.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required within six months of employment for Superflex RN positions.
A current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license is also required. Handle with care is preferred.
