Role Overview:
In this role, you will deliver virtual occupational therapy services to school-aged students, working closely with them, their families, and school staff to foster growth and address developmental needs. Your role will involve creating and executing customized therapy plans that help students thrive in their educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct virtual evaluations to assess students' needs and abilities.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results.
Provide remote therapy sessions using our secure virtual platform.
Collaborate with teachers and parents to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom setting.
Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes.
Participate in IEP meetings and assist in setting educational goals.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Current Occupational Therapy license in Washington State.
Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
Strong communication skills and proficiency with virtual technology.
Ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload efficiently.
