WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?

As a Charge Nurse at Jefferson City Manor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and quality of care for our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing the needs of our residents, communicating with physicians and families to address any concerns or changes in condition, and leading a team of Certified Medication Technicians and Certified Nursing Assistants. WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

To be successful in the role of Charge Nurse at Jefferson City Manor, you will need to possess a range of skills and qualifications. First and foremost, a current LPN license or RN license is required, ensuring that you are equipped with the necessary knowledge and expertise to provide quality care to our residents. In addition to the required licensure, strong communication skills are essential. As a Charge Nurse, you will frequently interact with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals, so the ability to effectively convey information and actively listen is crucial.

Leadership skills are also key in this role. As the leader of a team of CMTs and CNAs, you will need to inspire and motivate others, ensuring that tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively.
