Assistant/Associate Professor Department of Internal Medicine

The Wayne State University School of Medicine (WSU SOM) Department of Internal Medicine, Division of General Medicine is currently seeking 2 faculty members at the Assistant/Associate Professor level (rank and salary determined by qualifications and experience of successful candidate) on the clinical-educator track. The General Medicine program is a collaborative effort between Wayne Health (WH) and WSU SOM. As a member of WH, the physician will participate in the clinical activities of the division including rounding on the General Medicine inpatient service and staffing outpatient clinics. As a faculty member of WSU SOM, research opportunities will be available through the Department of Internal Medicine and the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching medical students, and residents.

Interested applicants must be licensed in the state of Michigan as an MD or DO and be board certified or eligible in Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Salary commensurate with experience as well as competitive benefits package will be offered.
